Reuben is a Brisbane-based photographer. He started taking photos in 2005 as a way to document his overseas travel, his lenses have enjoyed the restrained observation of intimate human moments as well as incredible feats of nature and man alike that feature in much of his wildlife and travel photography.
When Reuben is at home in Brisbane, he is known for stalking the urban landscape in the dead of night, capturing the dark simplicity and quiet complexity of subjects that make up the vast work of his night photography and street photography collections. He seeks out beauty in the desolate, old, and the mundane which is also evident in his abandoned collection.
Although having traipsed across all seven continents, Reuben would credit his biggest adventure and greatest achievement as fatherhood. He treasures the photos of his daughters as his most prized works.
